8GB is gonna be cutting it close. Should be able to get under the bar if you turn off the extras you don't need though.

I'm waiting on my Vostro A90 which should be here on June 11th. Already got my Runcore 32gb ssd as well as my Kingston low latency fast 2gb ram module. Got OSX 10.5.6 waiting as well as Windows 7 RC1 7127. I was going to order an Intel 5300 WLAN with 3 antenna but I don't think it works in OSX. Already have my STEC 16gb SSD sold when the unit arives I also have a 2.5" SATA 320gb WD HDD in a Vantec NexStar CX USB case that I will be mounting to the lid and getting a custom cable made to keep it as flush as possible to the shell of the Vostro. I'm still debating on the 77Wh 5200mAh 8 cell battery.

Dell Vostro A90 | SOLD - Dell Inspiron e1705 | SOLD
Dell Latitude D630 | 500gb HDD | 8gb RAM | W7 Pro 64bit | nVidia 135M (256mb)
Dell Precision T3500 "The Beast" W3570 quadcore 3.20ghz | 12gb 1333mhz ram | nVidia 240GT 1gb | Win 7 Pro 64bit | 12TB storage

If i can get it installed i am going to remove, garageband, imovie, iphoto, mail and a few other applications becuase they are not requied.

You should save yourself LOTS of aggravation & frustration & wait to install OS X on a larger SSD.

Newegg has Super-Talent SSDs for the Dell mini 9 that work beautifully, are affordable & best of all, are in stock.

Sure, RunCores are nice, but aren't the only SSDs in town.

Dell mini 9, 2GB RAM, 32GB RunCore SSD, OS X (10.6.7)
