Question Cannot connect to Bluetooth PAN in some cases for tethering - 05-28-2009, 04:19 AM

Hi, Thanks in advance for any help.

I have Samsung Omnia (verizon), using internet sharing program to set up Bluetooth PAN.

I have done the bluetooth fix <>

When I boot up OSX from mini dell 9 with the PAN already running on my phone, I can goto bluetooth and under my phone, I can click on connect to network.

However, when I don't have phone's Bluetooth PAN set up when computer is booting, or if my mini goes to sleep and wakes up, connect to network is no longer bold and cannot be clicked on. I try doing manual DHCP in network preference but that doesn't work either.

Any idea would be appreciated. I am just lazy to turn computer on and off, everytime I want to use the internet through my phone. Thanks again.

P.S. turning bluetooth on and off (since I've done the bluetooth fix) does not help either.
