Default Booting OSX from SDHC - 05-25-2009, 12:49 AM

Is it possible to install the bootloader and retail OSX 1.5.6 patched to 10.5.7 and boot from say a 16gb or 32gb SDHC card in the Mini9 or A90?

SD card slot is not bootable.

If you put it on a SD card and used a card reader in a usb slot, then yes, but in the built in slot, no. Sorry.

On a different note, I use my SD card to store my downloads and installed apps to keep my Leo install from getting to big. Also, if I crash my install, I have everything I want to run in one place and I don't have to re-download and re-install everything.

Thanks for the info. I may look more into the internal USB Hub route and put a Corsair Voyager 16gb or 32gb flash drive inside if I can boot from one of those. I would just rather keep my OSes on separate drives.
