I tried searching and couldn't find the answer. My cardreader on the mini 9 doesn't work. Or at least I can't seem to find the memorystick on my desktop when I pop it in.

In terms of details, I also admit I cheated and bought a mini 9 preloaded with OS X so....for all I know the cardreader DOESN'T work, but...assuming it's a software/driver glitch.... HELP!

Memory sticks are not supported, only SD / SDHC cards are supported, and even those are flaky.

Well that explains a thing or two. While I've got you....when I go into my system preferences and I click keyboard/mouse, the trackpad adjustment menus don't show up. It's like the thing doesn't realize I have a trackpad. ideas?

like on my regular macbook theres a trackpad button on the sys preferences. Not on my mini...

That's because the default drivers report the trackpad as a mouse, and at the same time, the trackpad is being run in relative mode, or the mouse emulation mode.

You can install the drivers I'm working on if you want more features / options.

Yeah, and it does do stuff.

@moonpod: meklort's driver does indeed 'do stuff'.... in System Preferences look at the bottom of the window under Other for a trackpad icon.
