Default Mini Bluetooth Adapter not working - 05-22-2009, 03:21 PM

I have installed OS X on my Dell Mini 9, nothing has not worked until my purchase of a mini USB Bluetooth adapter. The computer is registered as a MacBook Air in my MobileMe Preference Pane(meaning it is a clean install). Upon inserting the Bluetooth adapter my computer has suffered slow boot times(if it will boot at all), no working WiFi, as well as a missing Bluetooth Preference Pane; the computer recognizes the adapter in System Profiler under USB but not Bluetooth. I have tried Safe Mode, booting with -f to force kext, any assistance would be really appreciated, as this has come to be quite frustrating. I feel I have exhausted all efforts of an attempted, just can't believe an $8 Bluetooth adapter can cause all this trouble on my build.

I have a mini adapter from DX and I have similar problems. It runs fine for the current user session when inserted, but it prevents reboots and sleep from working.
