Default Wifi auto-connect - Does it work in 10.5.6? - 05-22-2009, 12:17 PM

Hi!

Finally received my 2 GB RAM module and a 32 GB SSD today. Just installed 10.5.6 on it and used Software Update to install all the latest updates except 10.5.7 for now. Everything seems to work fine but for some reason my wifi does not auto-connect after booting into the system. It's a little bit odd, because my MacBook Pro which sits just next to the Mini 9 auto-connects without any problems.

I also realised that when I wake from sleep on the Mini 9 there is a pop-up saying none of my prefered connections would be available but shows my default (and unprotected newtwork) and when I selected it for the first two times it said "connection timed out".

Any ideas? Is it my network, my wifi-card or a software bug?

Thanks for every help!
