Default Slower Speeds since 10.5.7 - 05-22-2009, 05:45 AM

anyone else experiencing way slower boot speeds since the 10.5.7 update?

Just wondering

and if so how have you fixed this

I don't notice anything.

Make sure you have a properly generated dsdt.aml file.. the system boots really slowly without one.

It's about 45 seconds from when I press the power button to a computer that's ready for use. And this is announced by the familiar Mac Startup sound.


Dell mini 9, 2GB RAM, 32GB RunCore SSD, OS X (10.6.7)

and it was only the first time that it was slow
