Okay, because I had used the System 11 method of installing OS X instead of Dellefi method, I just completely reinstalled my 10.5.X disc using Dell EFI and then grabbed the combo updater. All is fine after futzing around with re-running DellEFI in safe mode about 10 times. So after that I did the software update and all available Apple updates worked EXCEPT the new Java (I think it is 3.0) update. It will not install even though it is downloaded. Anyone seen this before and/or have suggestions? Thanks! |
