Default I Boot OSX From External Drive, How Do I Swap Drives? - 05-20-2009, 04:35 PM

I boot OSC from an external 3.5" drive. I just wanted to see how it worked and it's great. I have a new 500GB bus powered WD Passport and I copied the (or cloned?) the drive using disk utility on my iMac. I used the old drive 3.5" drive as the source, and the new one as the destination. It wont boot. the intercnall SSD is wiped so I get the typical "no OS foiund" error and I can select it by hitting "0" at the dell logo startup screen. What am I doing wrong.
