Default MacOSX and USB Aircard - 05-13-2009, 02:50 PM

Hey all.. I've searched throughout the forum for any reports of mac osx on a mini 9 and issues with a usb aircard (Sierra Wireless USBConnect Mercury). I'm having issues with random disconnects with the aircard while the machine is either idle or in use. The only work around is to remove and reinsert the aircard. Its sporadic in terms of how long the connection will last before I have to reseat the aircard.

I'm open to any ideas or recommendations you may have. Thanks!!!

One of the problems with building a hackintosh is that you are often using unsupported hardware. The Mini 9 just happens to use gear that is almost completely OS X compatible. The card you are trying to use is apparently not. You will have trouble unless someone has hacked a solution. You might try the insanely mac forum:

That's where the hardcore hackintosh crowd hangs out.
