Happen to me on first install I just restarted and everything was fine after that.

Installed from Software Update, machine rebooted just fine. Ran DellEFI 1.1 in safe mode to be safe, but then on two occasions machine woke from sleep to a dark screen (I normally don't turn my Macs off, why should the Mini be any different?) and had to do a hard reset. Booted into safe mode, ran DellEFI 1.1 again but checked the box for the "old mirror-friendly GMA kext" (whatever that is) and so far have had no problems on wake from sleep.

Did you update x.x.6 to x.x.7 simply through the Apple software updater rather than downloading the combo update? Also, did it take only one reboot into safe mode and apply DellEFI 1.1 once?

Weird. Just updated to 10.5.7 and it mostly went well but the touchpad seems to be acting flaky. Can't seem to locate where I can adjust those settings either. I'm running the default touchpad driver so I was looking at "Keyboard & Mouse" but there was nothing there. Wow, it's been awhile since I've booted into OSX. I shouldn't be spending so much time in Win7.

Edit: Oh well, went ahead and installed the Meklort touchpad drivers so I guess the loss of the default drivers ain't that big of a deal...

I'm having problems, tried clean installing 10.5.5 then upgrading to 10.5.7 twice now, getting the Mac equivalent of the BSOD at boot a little after the wheel spins (please restart your computer).

-newest bootloader 1.25 i think
-holding shift on boot does nothing
-can't boot from my OS X disc or USB (the chameleon bootloader offered to boot from a USB key the first reboot after the 10.5.7 update, never after)
-tried with both USB bios legacy enabled and disabled.
-might need to do something in terminal but can't launch it from my disc?
help?

Edit: got terminal running, can someone walk me through how to reset/erase my DSDT(?) file

My installation went fine, but my mini seems to freeze instead of sleep and sometimes when i open it I get a message saying the computers network name is taken. The only sollution is force reboot.. What are the correct BIOS setting again?

I'm having the same problem. Everything works great except restarting. If I restart, the OS looks like it's shutting down, the screen goes black but never comes back up. I have to hold the button for 10 seconds and manually reboot. Shutting down works fine - sort of wierd that shutting down works but restarting does not.

My update failed.

Was on 10.5.6, repaired file permissions, updated with delta 10.5.7, got stuck on reboot (spinning wheel)

Forced reboot, into safe mode...
Forced reboot, now safe mode single user verbose (-x -s -v). Logged in, ran dellEfi alpha, installed kexts and generated dsdt file.

Now it boots only to a blue screen, either safe mode or not.

Any ideas?
