Has anyone tried it with an external monitor connected? Just wondering if the video is good on the external to allow you to run the EFI install over.

I tried with external monitor. Instead of garbled video, I have black screen with cursor. Interestingly, the cursor spans across monitors. Just no finder, no dock. I wish I had networking on so I could SSH into it. I disabled the network when I did the update.

Hey guys been trying to log into the forum for the last few hours, the forum wouldn't send me my new password.

Here's what you need to do.
Download the installer, don't use Software Update. Install 10.5.7, in my case i downloaded the Combo.
Let it reboot.
At the boot screen use the -x to enter Safe Mode.
After in Safe Mode run DellEFI.
Reinstall the Mini 9 Extensions and remove custom dsdt.aml file.
Reboot.
At the boot screen use the -x to enter Safe Mode.
After in Safe Mode run DellEFI.
Install custom dsdt.aml file.
Reboot.

That worked for me, i'm on 10.5.7.

I have just been hosed by it! Screen is white/distorted and I don't believe the boot ever completed.
