So, whenever I put my Mini into sleep mode, either manually by choosing it under the "Apple" menu, or closing my lid, I actually do not go into sleep mode. My screen stays frozen, and on, in the state it was in, and the power light does not slowly flash on and off like it should. It is only when I open my Mini (or close and reopen) that the screen actually turns off and the Mini goes into sleep mode.
I've also noticed that my system completely freezes when I go into sleep mode with my wireless usb Logitech mouse plugged in. Also, it always seems to crash when I put it into sleep mode when the dock is up (I have it set to automatically hide), and especially when my cursor is over one of the dock items. All of these force me to hard reboot.
I really have no clue why this is happening, but it would be extremely helpful to not have to reinstall. I have had to borrow my friend's OSX disc twice now, and I have been imaging the disk to my external hard drive to install from that. It is currently in use though, hosting a large amount of large files, and a complete image of my PC's hard drive.
so, yea, anyone have any ideas?
