Default dbg.gz file in root and user home folder - 05-10-2009, 06:44 AM

Once in a while this file dbg.gz get generated in either my root folder or User Home folder. What is this? Is it some kind of Mac virus?

Thanks. Google it and it seems that there is one other guy like me wondering the same thing, with no answer.

Sounds like a gzipped core dump. Does it appear after app crashes? If so you can safely delete it.
