Default USB Headset - 11-11-2008, 03:15 PM

Hey all I have been using MacSpeech Dictate on my mini 9 and I would like to know if anyone is using a usb headset with theirs running Leopard. Just thought I would ask some folks as I would like to know if and which types work or not. Thanks in advance and to all you who are making this a very pleasant experience. I am truly thankful for all your helpful assistance.

I was at Wallyworld looking at a logitech usb headset. I plan on picking one up next week and will let you know if it works.

I have used a Logitec headset for my PS2 on my Macbook Pro before. I think almost any USB headset would work.

I don't have a mini-9 yet, but I'm seriously considering it. My main need, though, is for, yes, you guessed it, MacSpeech Dictate! So, how well does it work, assuming you have a decent input? Is the accuracy sufficient (more important than speed, IMHO)?

I use a Plantronics .Audio 85, and a Revolabs xTag on my iMac, both work well. I'm guessing that you'll encounter the same drivers, so either should work.

I use a Logitech USB Headset on my mini practically daily. Works great. I forget what model this is but it was only $40 cdn.
