| Member Posts: 49 Join Date: May 2009 | I too would like to see "this kind of stuff." :geek: This Engadget article tells you where OSX pulls the sidebar 'Shared' icons from: Code: /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources/ - Can we figure out which string one Mac uses to identify another Mac? - Is it in the same place that the AboutThisMac.pkg writes to? - Can a Mac/Mini9 send a custom icon? - Can we modify a plist/kext to make the Mini9 report that it's a Black Macbook or an XServe? |
