Does anyone know how to get more WiFI status/connection info under OSX i.e Data rate, signal strength etc.

I don't know much about that, but one weird problem I've been having lately is that if I set the WiFi/Airport settings to "OFF" to conserve energy, when I go to set it to "ON" again to connect to the internet it just freezes up about 50%-75% of the time. Even trying to access the network connections through the System Preferences doesn't work, and I just get "application not responding" errors.

Generally speaking everything else seems to keep running fine, and restarting will solve the problem.

Seems that the WiFi is one of the few weak spots of the OSX install on the Mini 9.
