1. upgrade Bios and maybe firmware for WWAN card or WLAN card depending what your using cause I know the At&t WWAN card can do 7.2mbps but needs a firmware upgrade which is easier in windows then anything else.
2. get retail copy of mac os
3. get upgraded ssd
(runcore preferably over 16gb) and RAM.
4. decide if you want to use usb drives or external cd/dvd drive (I had alot of trouble using a cd as it would timeout trying to load the mac os dvd after using the boot disk so copied to a 16gb micro sd from my blackberry and then used that thru a usb reader)
5. thats about it, just install.
