Hi all,

As anyone that has seen my few recent posts, I'm a new owner and recent installer of OSX on my dell mini. Having followed the wonderful instructions here, I used dellefi 1.0.7.1 per the instructions.

Now reading the forums, I see a dellefi 1.1 -

First question is - are the listed features of 1.1 the main changes from 1.0.7.1 to 1.1 or were there more?
next - is there a major stability change between the versions?
And finally, will I need to do a full reinstall of the OS or can I just install the dellefi 1.1? I ask because I have already applied all updates and installed many software packages and I'd hate to have to reinstall everything just after getting it the way I wanted it

You wont have to reinstall the os, just run DellEFI 1.1 like you did with 1.07.1.
As for the changes, I believe the ones listed are the only ones. You can take a look here :http://code.google.com/p/mydellmini/...lEFI_Changelog to get a list that I've put together (it may be wrong though).
As for stability, DellEFI 1.1 uses only 10.5.6 kexts, as opposed to DellEFI 1.07.1 (I believe), so any bug fixes in the kexts won't be in 1.07.1, while they will be in 1.1.

Thankyou i have reinstalled the dellefi app and have working sound now.

I believe you will find DellEFI 1.1 very stable and trouble-free. I have been running it since it was released with zero problems.
