Hi i have just followed the famous guide. and have a semi successful installation on my new dell mini 9 by semi i mean i have no sound (input or output) and i also have no scroll function on the trackpad.

I have spent a couple of hours this afternoon trying to find a fix for these to no avail.

i installed using a 10.5.6 retail disc with ext dvd drive, everything seems to work fine except these issues.

p.s i tried to use two finger scroll but removed it as it seemed to stop the click from working and was pretty much un-useable.

This is what I did to get it to work perfectly.

Then install Meklorts mouse pad drivers here:

touchpad-drivers-t5577.html

Be sure you save the page to a text file to paste all of the commands, it's a lot of terminal stuff to retype.

Everything works though. Mouse, keyboard, lan, wifi, sound, mic, all the sound jacks, sleeps, wakes from sleep perfect and shuts down perfect. The battery meter is spot on and quartz extreme is supported.

Be sure you debloat the sucker after with xslimmer or monolingual ( i think those are the names).
