Default Apple Wireless keyboard (plastic) Brightness keys - 04-27-2009, 09:16 AM

as I am using this keyboard with funktion keys up to F16: is there a way to use F14 and F15 as brightness control? Re-set to F10 and F11 won't do either - only using Fn+9 and 10 on the dm9 keyboard will adjust the brightness.

The brightness isn't currently handled in software, so that's why your apple keyboard doesn't have any effect. You may notice that the overlay doesn't show up when you press the keys, as it does with the volume keys. Currently, it is handled by the BIOS.
