Let me be clear that I did not create any of the drivers. All the drivers were created by meklort. You can check this thread for more info - Touchpad drivers - MyDellMini. All I did was create an applescript application to install the drivers. Let me just say many thanks to meklort for creating these drivers. I most certenly don't have the tallent for that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update 10: Ok, in the downloads section below there is an updated version of the installer and separate uninstaller for V17 and both versions of V18. Update 9: V18 is Up and working - The uninstaller is not fixed yet. I will get to it later this week. Update 8: Ok I just updated. Make sure you use the uninstall tool before installing V18. Also it is very important to change at least one slider in the new Trackpad PrefPane before restarting. I didn't and lost my mouse. If you have this problem just plug in an external mouse and change at least one slider in the new Trackpad PrefPane to fix it. Update 7: I have added the link for installer V17. If you want to read more about the changes from meklort see this link. (http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/mac-...html#post44560) Update 6: I have added the link for installer V16. If you want to read more about the changes from meklort see this link. (http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/mac-...html#post68902) Update 5: You no longer have to run the removal tool if you have installed a previous version. The new one will just overwrite the old. Updated the readme Please re-download if you got it before 6:30pm Pacific time on 5/2/09. Update 4: You no longer have to copy the touch_res folder to your home folder. Everyting is in .dmg rather than .zip Updated the readme Update 3 Added more to the readme. Update 2 I revised the readme to include the info above and renamed the link to identify the version of kext included. The minimum requitements for these scripts are: Dellmini 9 osx 10.5.6 DellEFI 1.1 I have been told the scripts work on Dellefi 1.2 as well. Download Below http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/963163/Touchpad_15.dmg No Changes http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/963163/Touchpad_16.dmg fixed @1020 on 5/24 http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/963163/Touchpad_17.dmg New Drivers from Meklort http://files.getdropbox.com/u/963163/Touchpad_V18.dmg V18 Drivers from Meklort 7-13-09 http://files.getdropbox.com/u/963163...uchpad_V17.zip Uninstaller for V17 http://files.getdropbox.com/u/963163...hpad_V18.0.zip Uninstaller for V18 that didn't save the settings after a reboot. http://files.getdropbox.com/u/963163...hpad_V18.2.zip Uninstaller for the current V18.2 http://files.getdropbox.com/u/963163/Touchpad_V18.2.dmg Current V18.2 Installer Please post is you have success as well as problems. I would like to know that it working well for people too. Enjoy Disclaimer: I created these installers for myself. I am giving them to you for free. I will not be held responsible for any problems you may have. Now, with that said. I have had used these installers with no problems what so ever. I test every version I put out. Others have had success and been very happy with them. I will try to answer any questions you may have on this forum. However I do this on my own time so no guarantee there either. |

Also it is important that you are logged in as an admin user. Let me know if you need anymore help. P.S. If you are upgrading from kext 14 you won't notice much difference.

Did you update extras at the end of the remove and the install? If so make sure you restart after each.
