ok, first problem. I tried to boot with dellminiboot 8.02b1 but it hangs at "loading darwin x86"... how did you manage to boot it? |

do you mean netboobootkmaker... because i've already tried this on a partition of an external hard drive and it doesn't work... can you make a step by step guide? if it doesn't bother you!!! thanks!! |

Now it boots. (but I have used netbookbootmaker not the installer.) but it hangs at the apple logo without the spinner.... |

I wish there was a definitive resource for snow leopard installation, I know you have to patch several kexts that aren't included with netbookinstaller such as netkas's ATA patch, but I'm not sure about other such as dsmos, apple decrypter, disabler .kext etc... (and what their roles are!) Contributor to the NetbookInstaller project |
