We definitely need a beta of DellEFI for snow leopard. I am super excited to get it running on my dell. I put it on my iMac and it is so hard to go back to the Dell.

Yes, 10.6 will work fine. There may be a few issues with kexts, but It's very possibly to get everything working.

According to MacRumors Snow Leopard reached GM status today. The build number is 10A432. Hopefully someone can run their tests on this build and let us know

I might be able to get my hands on this build. I'll make an image of my HDD first incase everything goes to pot (I love the Runcore USB interface) and then either try a remote install using remote CD, or put the disk image on a USB stick

updating over my current hackintosh install failed with a KP on boot no matter what (tried installing disabler dsmost, and other recommendations from netkas.org, replaced the SSD kext from 10.5.8) so I'm going to do an install akin to what meklort suggested and report back

yes. I'm only doing clean installs. I think I just need to find the right combo of kexts. Just sorting it out now, but installation takes 30 mins each time, so every time i screw it up It takes another 30 mins! (only screwed up once so far)
