I ran into a problem when installing osx.
After following the guides it seemed installing and everything was going fine up until the mac osx installation part. I removed some languages and slimmed my installation down so it could fit, but there was an installation error. Ok fine. So I restarted it.
But then there was some partition error so I opeend up disk utility to find out what the problem was. There was now two partitions, one was about 2 gb and so I needed to delete both partitions to make room for my osx installation.
But now when I chose the same options, i'm still under the limit of free space. But upon closer inspection, it seems that my 8gb stec is listed as 7.2 in disk utility. There's no way for me to recover what I think is about 0.2-0.3 gb's that should be there.
Anyone know what's going on? This is really frustrating.
BTW, it came with windows home and i'm guessing it might be a hidden partition, but I really don't know. Who knows, maybe the 7.2 gb is correct and I'm just missing a simple step.
