If you do not have a bluetooth module, turn bluetooth off in the bios and turn USB legacy on. If you DO have a bluetooth module, turn bluetooth on in the bios and turn USB legacy off. You could try running with both turned on if you have a bluetooth module, but anecdotally this causes freezing when trying to wake from sleep.

I confirmed this. Its BT OR Legacy usb enabled

When BT is off, and legacy is on, ive other issues :
- wlan may not find any network
- VoodooPS2Controller can bug after wake
- ... and i cannot use my BT mouse ;( ;(

I injected code in the kernel to for a reset ; strange, it freezes at this command after one sleep. This trick works on desktop ?!

Maybe the solution is in DSDT !!!

Maybe this is too late but I have noticed that when I open after sleep and I am in an area where I have a previously connected wireless access, if I wait until my wireless connection goes solid I have no issues with the machine. If I try anything during the reacquisition I upset the computer and it is locked up and requires a reboot before it becomes usable again.

Thanks for the info, I was debating if I should turn off or on the legacy mode (as I don't use the Bluetooth with anything, even though it is installed.)

I don't have a bluetooth module, but do have USB bluetooth adapter and having BT on and USB legacy lets my mini sleep.

Not exactly a pressing issue is it lol
If you are 'hard wired' to use the apple icon command, choose shutdown instead, then press the power button, one extra button press and hey what's with all the restarting anyway? Isn't that why we're on OSX?

For the record, bringing up the menu with the power button gives me same result (i.e. appears to hang but powerbutton stays on). I'm fine though with shutdown then power up again

No it's not really pressing, it's just that for me (and I'm sure others as well), I only got a Mini 9 because OS X is supposed to run flawlessly, that after install it's "just like a Mac". So yes, it's not a big deal to just choose shutdown, but each little thing you have to do differently makes it more like a computer that you have to "hack" constantly in little ways to get it to run, rather than just install and treat it like a Mac.

I have BT ON, and USB legacy OFF, and definitely have this problem still.

On a related note, why is the thread titled with [resolved]? Has the issue really been resolved?

I guess links didn't survive the forum transition. I've edited my OP to reflect the new URL.

If you want to restart after sleep, you need to have BT off and USB Legacy on.

Matrix here.
