sorry for the silly question, but what does the "fix bluetooth" option in DellEFI do?

This is interesting. My mini had the noise in sound issues from day 1. If I didn't put to sleep immediately after powerup, the noise was terrible. Since disabling bt in the bios, noise issues seem to be gone. Will need to continue monitoring this to see. Anyone else with the noise issue able to test and verify if disabling bt in the bios fixes this for them as well?

Edit: No, noise is still happening at times ...

AFAIK, it simply deletes the Bluetooth preferences file.

Is there anyway to toggle BT on/off from the Mini 9 OS installation like on a real mac? The BIOS jams this function it seems...

Isn't USB Legacy supposed to be disabled to have sleep though?

Only if you have Bluetooth enabled, apparently. That's been the problem all along, it seems.

I can confirm the issue: would be nice to have a fix so I will be able to use the apple wireless keyboard which requires bluetooth on.

although restart after sleep works, i think enabling usb support has resulted in more crashes. i saw more apple freezes on white screen and app crashes in a couple days than i had seen in weeks.

Hey... maybe a stuipd question, but I have the no-restart-after-sleep problem but my mini did not come with a bluetooth module. When I first installed OS X, I had the usual sleep issues reported here until I disabled the USB legacy mode.. seeing as I don't even have bluetooth, will the above fix work for me? I'm really hesitant to change anything right now, as I'm currently overseas and do not have access to the tools necessary to repair my install if anything were to go wrong... it's been working great aside from that one issue for the past 7 weeks or so any advice would be great!

I also do not have a bluetooth module and this method worked for me. Everything is working exactly as it did before, except now I can restart after sleep. Just my $0.02
