Default Negative Colors on bootup - 04-20-2009, 01:44 PM

For some strange reason, I am getting a streak of what appears to be negative of the background on bootup (Mac OS X). Once I log in, the streak disappears and the screen is fine. This started just a couple of days ago after having the unit for about a week. Any ideas how to fix this and should I be concerned? Thank you.
