So, yesterday (with the help of my brother) I got my new refurb Dell Mini 9 up and running OS X 10.5.6 (thanks to DellEFI 1.1).
I was using it all day, I had shut it down and start it up with no trouble a few times, and I decided to try and install the touchpad drivers posted in this forum so I can get some 2 finger scrolling enabled (mistake). I couldn't for the life of me get it working, and during the process the airport turned off and wouldn't let me turn it back on. So I just restarted, and now it just hangs on the gray Apple screen. The spinny thing at the bottom comes up, but it just sits there forever.
I've tried launching in -x in -f and also in -v, and it all just hangs.
Any ideas?? I'm guessing I'm going to have to re-install the whole thing again, which sucks. Has anyone had success running disk utility off the os X install dvd?
Thanks in advance....
