Default Remote CD question - 04-18-2009, 03:23 AM

My brother is using my Macbook and he won't be back from Duke Univ. until 3 weeks. I bought this GPS USB receiver which I plan to integrate in the Mini through the walkthrough provided by a member on here. I know that Remote CD can be used to install an OS on a Macbook Air. Can it be used to install other CD's such as iLife, and other software? The GPS USB receiver came with a driver CD. I went to the manufacturers website and tried to locate the driver and it's not on there,

What do I do?
This is the one I bought.

You have two options. You can use Remote CD on another computer, PC or Mac, and enable Remote CD via DellEFI, to access the CD. Or, you could copy the contents of the CD to a flash drive and then plug that into the Mini. Either way should work just fine.
