Anyone in here use CandyBar on their Mini 9s?? I use CandyBar on my Macbook Pro and love the simplicity... so easy to swap out system icons, application icons, docks, and completely re-theme my Mac.

I have yet to load it on the Mini

Forget the guide, I'm making a bash script that will easily install the black theme for you. Writing it up now, cool stuff.

I kind of forgot how: how do I give the user running the script elevated permissions at the start? I need to chmod something to 777, and it needs authentication, so how do I enter root mode at the beginning (so the user can enter the password at the start) of the script rather then when it's time to chmod near the end?

Does that make sense? lol

Google would probably be a good start... the majority of people here haven't the slightest clue about Unix/scripting/root access versus normal

Easiest thing is to just add sudo to the beginning of the first command and then call as needed elsewhere in the script. Sudo gives you superuser permissions for 5 minutes when you run it, so as long as your script finishes before that you wont need to enter your password again.
