Default Strange behavior when coming out of sleep - 04-13-2009, 06:26 PM

When I come out of sleep by opening the lid, I hear a repeating tone that does not go away. Also, when I press the apple in the top left corner to logout and move the mouse down, the highlighted item in the drop down bounces up to the top as I move my mouse down. It is almost as if a key is being held down when I come out of sleep. This only happens when I come out of sleep. It happens every time.

I have Legacy USB Support disabled. Running DellEFI 1.07.1. Mac OS X 10.5.6.

I think if you hit escape after coming out of sleep it might help out.

I'd upgrade to dellEFI 1.1 or 1.2a as those seem to fix this and other issues you might experience in 1.07

Dell Mini 9 | Mac OS X 10.5.6 | 2 GB RAM | 32 GB STEC SSD | BIOS A05 | Bluetooth: off | DellEFI 1.1

In spite of the fact that DellEFI 1.07 was supposed to take care of the repeating 1 on resume from sleep, I still experienced it some of the time. After upgrading to 1.1 a couple of weeks ago, I haven't seen it at all.
