| Super Moderator Posts: 1,356 Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Idaho | If you performed the install using only DellEFIBootMaker, you must first install DellEFI 1.2a5, reinstalling the bootloader, extensions, removing the dsdt.aml file, and disabling hibernation. Before restarting, install the 10.5.7 update. Restart, then run DellEFI again, and again reinstall the bootloader, extensions, and generate a new dsdt.aml file. This works perfectly, just did a fresh install this way tonight. | Junior Member Posts: 14 Join Date: May 2009 | So I've gathered, I must admit I didn't do my research quite enough.. I had assumed that the one stick installer would result in same end result as having used dellefi, I'll see if I can rescue it, or I'll just start again.. now that I know this. Ta. |
