Default [workaround] Blueooth going off when pairing to a device - 04-07-2009, 02:36 PM

Hi guys,

just so other people with my problem won't have to look too much in the forum.

Issue:

when pairing my dell mini to a bluetooth device (my phone), it went as far as to asking to configure the services the phone offers. If you then click continue and expect to configure them, you'll find out that soon the bluetooth goes off and the panel won't go ahead but remains stuck.

As a workaround to fix it, simply run Bluetooth File Exchange. It will ask you to turn the bluetooth on, you do and everything continues as normal.
Any program that enables the bluetooth works as a workaround.

After that, you should not have any more problem with it (a part from the icon not changing to the connected one when connected to a bluetooth device).

I'm having the same issue but is on my MSI Bluetooth Stereo Headset. Still finding ways to pair it properly.
