I'm on my third reinstall of OS X. Wifi card still refuses to work.
Dell Mini 9 - 2gb RAM, 16gb SSD
External DVD drive
Retail OS X v10.5
Install using DellEFI method with DellMiniBoot123v8.01and DellEFI v1.07.1
Successful install of 10.5, with update to 10.5.6 applied from burned CD. Mini 9 boots normally from SSD
, except no wifi. No Airport icon in menubar, no Airport choices in Network preference pane, Airport section of "More info..." in About this Mac says "No information found."
Reinstalled DellEFI v1.07.1, and also tried v1.1. Nuthin'.
Ubuntu live CD boot from USB stick runs normally, including wifi. So it's not a hardware problem with the card.
Should I try the alpha DellEFI 1.2? This thing is kicking my ass.
