Now I have the proper jargon,
I can't seem to get clamshell mode to work properly. I'm on dellEFI 1.1 with OS X 10.5.6 on an 8gb SSD
working flawlessly, except for a major feature i need. Clamshell mode.
This computer is going to spend the majority of it's life in my glovebox of my GTI running the music (I drive long distances regularly). I have it connected to a xenarc TSV700 with a physical resolution of 800x480. Touchscreen works, i can get video as an external monitor, but not mirror mode, or clamshell mode.
When I boot the Mini 9 with the monitor attached, and immediately close the lid I get the boot sequence on the external monitor, mac splash loading page, than the screen turns blue, than turns black, blue again, than black, and the monitor goes to sleep, like the dell stopped sending signal. The power light on the mini 9 does not pulse to denote the computer is sleeping, but there is no control, nothing reacts.
Any Insight would be appreciated.
