Default osx hacks: isnt it win-win for all parties? - 04-04-2009, 03:45 PM

What do you think?

Just thought, the people making this possible should be rewarded by dell AND apple.

I am shure dell sells more minis because of the great dell OS X hacks.
Apples sells more Leopard licencies, and its kind of the best pr apple can get.
Plus many people would "upgrade" to a "real" apple note/netbook
after they get used to the qualities of OS X and have saved up some more bucks.

I am making music with macs ince 1992,
once had a official clone, the umax pulsar.
I bought my Powermac G5 just days before they announced to switch to intel chips,
which I was considering to be a joke then.
So having the mac inspiron mini working as a charm,
it feels like a little payback to apple for letting me down with the chip issue.

Apple has 0 interest in their software running on non-apple hardware. Dell by the sounds of it doesn't really care about what you do with the thing, judging by reports of people sending in their minis for a hardware problem with OSX installed
