So I finally got my Mini9 up and running with Leopard, tnx for all your help and exellent guides!
Today I bought a 3g modem from the swedish service provider Tele2. ItĀ“s suppose to work on mac, but when i finish the installation and start the program I get the message "The application has been moved, do you want to re-install it?", and the first times I installed it, it didnĀ“t even show in the applications folder.. Any ideas? I did search on this subject and found one guy with the same problem, but on a different Huawei modem and on a japanese service provider (I donĀ“t know what to call it). Could this have to do with the fact that itĀ“s not a real mac? I will try to install it on my Macbook Pro tomorrow. EDIT 1
I've confirmed that it worked like a charm on my gfs Macbook, so I'm beginning to think that it's a Mini 9 problem EDIT 2
So, I fiddled around with Pacifist and installed the driver packages and apps individually. Then I looked in the network settings page and found the Huawei modem in the list and connected. It worked! Then I started the native application and ran it, and that also worked, so now i can run it directly from the modem without problems. I guess I did something right when I (pretty much randomly) installed things from within the driver package with Pacifist. Pheew! :geek:
