Default stability of osx on mini 9 - 03-26-2009, 04:09 PM

Over the past few months, I have experimented with installing osx on my inspiron e1705. In almost every case, the system would work fine for a few days but then at some point would constantly give errors or not boot up or something or the other. I just bought a mini 9 and am wondering how stable osx is on this machine to see whether it is worth it for me to purchase an osx disk. thanks.

I only stalled mine about 3 days ago, but am very happy with the performance so far.

My 2 cents.

I've been using Mini 9 + osx 10.5.6 for about a month. The duo works perfectly together.
The only hiccup I experienced was when I upgraded to DellEFI 1.1 final. Other than that things are problem-free.

2 GB corsair, 32 GB Runcore, OSX 10.5.7, DellEFI 1.2a5.

sleep works
expose/spaces work
i'm not too sure about boot camp but there are threads to multi-boot

the only thing that doesn't work is the scrolling on the trackpad but there's a thread to have it activated (it even has 2-way scrolling)
