I initially disabled sleep on the mini, but now that I want to have a look into this issue I can no longer get the mini to go to sleep when I shut the lid!
Currently I have hibernation disabled, and ran 'pmset disablesleep 0' in the hope of re-enabling sleep. When I close the lid the screen blanks out, but the unit does not sleep. If I hit the power button and select sleep from the menu which pops up, the unit sleeps, the power light throbs, but I can never wake the unit up again...
Were you tailing /var/log/system.log to see the sleep information Una? I do not get any sleep related info printed there...
Can someone try something like this to get a dump of the sleep error rather than looking at a blurry photo
tail -f /var/log/system.log | tee /system.dump
Then when you crash and need to restart, you can retreive the contents of the system.dump file from the root of the drive.
A dump with an STEC drive and one of the 32GB replacements would be great.
