I would love some touchpad scrolling on the next round if possible.
I'm already working on it and have implemented many of the needed functions / definitions (and I'll be working on it all this week).

As for the battery Icon, I have not had a problem with it. It always displays properly. You may want to regenerate the dsdt file just in case.

As for the UK PS2 Keyboard: If you change the IOProbeScore to a higher number, it should load in the Mini9Kext locations. using kextcache -a adds the new directory to the cache so I believe it'll keep the old one as well.

The PIIXATA driver only has a bug fix for the stec drives. it does no harm to keep it in there as it wont interfere with the runcore. Feal free to remove it though.

I hope you actually rebooted after manually deleting the dsdt.aml file. This is necessary for the dsdt patcher to work from a virgin dsdt file and not from one that was already modified.

If this is not what you did then delete the dsdt.aml file manually, reboot and then use DellEFI to generate a new one.

1.1 final cause my Dell to not response after sleep (no mouse, keyboard input).

I reverted back to 1.1 beta 5 take 2, everything goes back to normal.

I wonder what's wrong.

The final works well here. Everything is running smoothly except auto sleep ( auto display sleep is back for me in the final ). Seeing that it works for others, the problem must be on my end.

Thanks again for an excellent release! :geek:

I installed 1.1 and now when I close the lid to put it to sleep I notice the mouse is lost if I use a bluetooth mouse. If i don,t use the bluetooth mouse the pointer is there and all ok.
So I loose the mouse pointer if I use the USB bluetooth mouse.[b][size=150]

Did this work previously on 1.07.1 or is it a new install. I'm going to assume it didn't work in 1.07.1 / new install (if it did, ignore this as it wouldn't be the problem). When you put the mini to sleep it cuts power to the usb ports and on wakeup assumes you disconnected them. This causes the usb bluetooth adapter to be disconnected and with it your mouse. Apple has a workaround for usb express cards that may fix the problem with the mini until I can find a better solutions. (again, this isn't my top priority so it may take a while to get to it).
Unfortunately, I don't have bluetooth so I really can test any regressions regarding BT that may happen after each dellefi version.

Yes, I followed the directions. Delete file, reboot, install 1.1, reboot. It was that reboot after the 1.1 install that caused it to hang. But yeah, after a hard reset, everything works swimmingly.

Just did the upgrade from 1.07.1 to 1.1. I had just done a fresh install a few days ago and this was my first upgrade.
Can't say much is different though

Is there a good thread about optimizing OSX and safari for ssd?

It killed my install. I let it remove the dsdt, rebooted, installed, and now it wont start up again. I'll post a picture of the error message later. I'll also get a chance to see if time machine actually works.
