Re: How do I do a clean install on new runcore? - 03-29-2009, 04:21 PM
I have a new Dell Mini and Runcore coming soon. After reading these forums and ZDnet, I anticipate trying to install 10.5.6 on the Runcore from my MacBook then swapping the rc for the stec into the Mini. Next I would use a formatted usb stick (with the iso and efi) on the Mini to boot from and install the EFI drivers. I think it could be that easy.
I wish I knew if it is possible to partition the Runcore for a dual boot, and install XP from the Mini onto the Runcore after installing 10.5.6 from the MacBook and before swapping the Runcore for the stec. I am hoping to find out if this idea could work.
Maybe I'm not making good sense :? Being a newb at this I may be waaaaaaay off base.
Any thoughts? Anyone ever try this?
