When I got the OSX installed (10.5.6) I opened up the DELLEFI in DellMini9Utils I chose easy installation. Everything installed correctly except the Dell mini 9 extensions. It says

Could not install Extensions. Error 1

I am guessing that has something to do with my boot. Whenever I boot I have to put in the dellefi image and press esc. Then I have to choose the hard drive and press enter or else it will just be stuck at the apple boot screen. Also my sound does not work. I have bios version a01, but I don't know how to flash it. If anyone could help me that would be great. I would love to have my mini 9 working 100 percent without using a flash drive to boot it up.

I suggest you run DellEFI again and select to do "Custom Install" then make sure to re-install the Extensions. This will probably fix it.

That is what I did, I redownloaded the dellefi and went into the utils and it did the same thing.
