Unhappy OSX Version Help - 03-08-2009, 02:29 PM

I am certainly a NOOB here and do not have my Mini yet. I am seeking to
create my own Hackintosh. The OSX version I have is the original OSX. I originally upgraded
my PowerPC 8600 from OS7 through each OS until I put OSX on it with a Processor upgrade.

Well enough babbling, I am really trying to determine whether I can use that version of the OS
and then use my internet connection or 4GB jump drive to upgrade to the current rev I have seen
referenced in these forums.

I have ordered the following Mini for my endeavors.
Inspiron Mini 9 (910) Laptop: Intel Atom Processor N270 (1.6GHz/533Mhz FSB/512K cache) No DVD or CD Drive Ubuntu Linux version 8.04.1 512MB of RAM.

I intend on upgrading the RAM to 2GB and upgrading the SSD to a larger capacity.

Mini 9 |A4| 2 GB | OSX 10.5.6 | 32GB Runcore SSD | 60GB USB HDD | 16 GB SHDC
