Default mobile connect won't install - 03-07-2009, 12:53 PM

This is strange. The tiny app "mobile connect" that I use all the time to go into the internet with my macbook pro and 3g modem (huawei K3565) shows all the signs that it installs, but doesnt appear in applications list. Another thing is that the app is on the modem appears for about half a second as a cd mount- it then disappears- whereas on the macbook pro it is there all the time.
Any answers? Thanks

No idea, but I have tried installing Vodafone Mobile Connect and whilst it appears to install OK, it doesn't detect the Ericsson HSPA 5530 card in my mini and crashes the OS.

However if it is a Vodafone connection you need it may work for you.
