I've been using DevonThink on my mini, runs great. The small screen size makes things a bit harder to use but that's true of running any app that really wants lots of screen real estate on the smaller mini.
If disc size is very important you might want to consider the 10v and configuring it with the 160GB HD instead. Not sure what is the max size of 2.5" drives. I have a 500GB drive in my Dell D830 so they're at least that size
Since I have a mini9 I haven't been following the 10v too closely but I think currently practically everything works but the microphone and the trackpad is just so-so, if either of those features are important to you. And you'll get one of those 95% size keyboards.
