How often do your Mini 9s freeze?

Twice in the last week, my mini has frozen while the screen saver is on. Console shows a Meteorologist weather check as the last task prior to freezing, although that happens frequently so I'm not sure why it would cause a hang.

My only problems have to do with coming out of sleep, and restart/shutdown after a sleep. Other than that, no lockups, no crashes.

Since the graphics drivers were fixed after the 10.5.6 update in late november i think I have had zero crashes. Not sure why yours is kicking out on you. Since January i have had a runcore which could eliminate sleep issues caused by the STEC. Even though they have been resolved, its possible that occasionally our hack won't work.

but seriously, I would look at what software you have running. Also, be careful about using monolingual. if you trim the wrong apps they could become unstable and cause crashes. I have been using xslimmer and have had no issues with any of my apps.

Make sure USB Legacy Support + USB Wake are both DISABLED in the bios. Would freeze up on me when Legacy was enabled.
