Default Install from Windows! It's Possible! - 03-04-2009, 03:02 AM

You just got a new Dell Mini and want to put Mac OS X on it. Maybe you've used a Mac before at the library or at school and liked it a lot. Maybe you just want to experiment with other operating systems. In any case, you open up the box, play with it for a bit, then hit the internet for a guide on how to install. A problem becomes immediately apparent: All of the instructions require a Mac or an external DVD drive, and you don't have either of those things. Furthermore, you spent enough money on a retail Mac OS X Install DVD, and you don't want to buy any more hardware. But your desktop PC has a DVD drive, right? Too bad it has Windows, right?
Well your prayers have been answered, my DellEFI how-to how-to guide. (Check Section G)
Feel free to comment in that thread, since that is actually where the guide is.
