Default Desktop Freeze after waking up - 03-02-2009, 07:43 PM

I'm trying to figure out why my mini is freezing on the desktop after I try to use it after a while of it sitting or being closed. After finishing using it, I will either close the top or just leave it alone, and the screen will turn black. If I use it right after that (by moving my finger on the mouse) it works fine, but if I allow it to 'hibernate' it comes back to the desktop, but I cannot do anything, it just freezes.

Is this expected behavior, or should this function correctly? I have installed the SD Card driver found here ... t3690.html so I wasn't sure if that was causing something either.

If I can't figure this out, my wife may force me back to XP, which I do not want to do.

Make sure you have Legacy USB and Wake from USB disabled in the BIOS. This is a common issue.
