Default Program to help burn ISO disk on XP - 03-01-2009, 09:20 PM

I have to admit I didn't know an iso from a hole in the ground. There, I said it.

If you are doing the Type11 install you read that it requires an external cd/dvd drive to create a boot123 disk out of the iso file. You probably read in the guides that it's not a simple drop and copy. Provided you have XP on your Mini you might try the freeware program that made the process easy for me.

The program I used is called ISO recorder:

After I installed ISO recorder, I downloaded the DellEFI Boot123 ISO (I put it on my desktop to make it easy to find,) double clicked DELLEFI icon, and the ISO recorder program automatically opened its dialogue box and the rest was a piece of cake.

I'm sure most PC folks know better ways to do this, but as a mainly mac guy this was the easiest solution for me.
